Green Zone Leadership
This workshop consists of an 8-hour face-to-face session where participants learn how to 1. develop their self-awareness, 2. anticipate and prepare for triggers that take them off track, 3. regulate to maintain focus under stress, 4. reflect to improve learning, and 5. adapt as conditions change. Both neuroscience and behavior change models are included in the learning experience to provide an evidence-based approach in all skill areas. Participants complete a calendar analysis to identify their Daily Operating Rhythm℠ and recurring hotspots in their work and relationships with others. Case examples are used to illustrate each skill area and to help apply the learning. At the end of the workshop, participants reflect on their learning and identify opportunities for improvement and immediate implementation following the session. During the learning experience, they 1. learn the neurobehavioral model, 2. complete a self-assessment, 3. learn and practice tools for improving awareness, 4. learn to avoid emotional tripwires, and 5. apply their learning in a personal change plan.
